There are two programs you need to complete before you register for classes:
A) The college orientation
B) A sexual assault prevention program (this is from an outside non-Cabrillo entity).
This orientation is required for all new Cabrillo first-time students. It is one of three required services; the other two are Assessment and Educational Planning (having an education plan). This orientation should take around 45 minutes and has quizzes which you need to pass to receive credit. Please make sure you complete the entire orientation and print or take a screen shot of the completion certificate in order to receive your credit. Completing orientation is required before you assess for math and English.
This section is called the Not Anymore Program, a national initiative created BY college students FOR college students as a hopefully better way to protect more people from feeling pressured to have sex when it is unwanted. There are too many stories of people feeling misunderstood or not believed when the answer to sexual pressure has been NO. The goal of the Not Anymore Program is also to protect those who may be accused of sexual assault because the communication was unclear.
